There'll be a ballet audition this sunday at Taman Tun...the audition is for a concert in a near future at Istana Budaya...not sure bout the details of the concert..jus noe that the organiser is going to put plenty of money in for props n costume...so definitely it wil b a fabulous concert..the best thing is it is at Istana Budaya...omg...
there is a few session which go according to our level...it wil be all on point shoe..1 is advance 1/2..another 1 is intermediate...for me supposingly shud go for advance level..but i m very doubtful about my ability of going on point...really worried...not sure am i good enough...dats y i even ask around whether to go for the advance level...going to advance level would be a challenge...going to intermediate will be a promise going into the concert...
until now stil haven a pair of point shoe which fully suit me...recently bought a pair of Gamba brand point shoe..it cost rm200..last pair at the shop....new pair of Gamba coming in will be 300++....dunno to say lucky or unlucky...but this pair nicely fit in which dun allow me to wear my toe pad....OUCH!!! ....tot mayb shud try...bought a jelly pad for my big toe...my big toe now no more sore...but then my other 8 little toe...their knuckles will surely get blister after each class...it is really suffering when doing slow dance...
before this pair of gamba,got a pair of Gaynor Minden...is another brand of pointe shoe...it cost me around rm300++...it is wat i looking for-hard sole...but is tight till alwiz hurt the behind of my leg...
so even don't really feel comfortable with Gamba, also don't really feel like buying a new pair of point shoe...cos is not cheap...arghhhhhhhhhhh...............
2 weeks ago....teacher was discussing wit 1 of the student about pointe shoe...then suddenly talk bout how easy it was for her to teach me point work when first started...cos i got a very strong arch...but now i m not that good cos i m too lazy....it really hit me.....mayb i shud really work hard.....
always feel my self is not compatible with others in ballet...mayb is MUST work very very very hard....
